Van 25 tot en met 27 september is Apeldoorn Flexible Packaging (AFP) vertegenwoordigd op FachPack in Neurenberg. Het bedrijf presenteert daar diverse nieuwe producten voor rekfolie en foodverpakkingsfolie toepassingen.
AFP heeft geïnvesteerd in de ontwikkeling van duurzame alternatieven voor haar consumenten. Het resultaat is Katan-Ex Biobased, een biobased rekfolie. De folie is afkomstig van suikerriet en met deze folie is de onderneming naar eigen zeggen in staat een 90% lagere CO2-uitstoot te realiseren in vergelijking met normale rekfolie voor de productie van Katan-Ex Biobased.
In de voedingsmiddelen verpakkingsmarkt ontwikkelt AFP samen met de Jindal Group mono-oplossingen voor barrière laminaten. Mono-materialen zijn gemakkelijker te recyclen in vergelijking met composiet-materialen, claimt AFP.
AFP is op de verpakkingsbeurs in Neurenberg te bezoeken in hal 7, standnummer 560.
As of 25th till the 27th of September Apeldoorn Flexible Packaging (AFP) in Apeldoorn, the Ntherlands, will be exhibiting at the FachPack in Nuremberg, Germany. The company will present several new products for stretch film and food packaging film applications.
AFP have been investing in the development of sustainable alternatives for its customers. This has resulted in Katan-Ex Biobased, a biobased stretch film. The film is derived from sugar cane and with this film the enterprise is able to realize a 90% lower carbon footprint in comparison to normal stretch film whilst achieving Katan-Ex stretch film performance.
In the food packaging market AFP is developing mono solutions for barrier laminates in a joined effort with the Jindal Group. Mono materials are much easier to recycle in comparison to composite laminates, AFP claims.
The Dutch company can be visited at the exhibition in Nuremberg in Hall 7, booth 560.
