De AFG 5000, een afvul- en sluitmachine van Bosch Packaging Technology, ontving onlangs de Red Dot Award van het Design Centrum Nordrhein-Westfalen in de categorie Product Design.
De beoordeling werd uitgevoerd door een 40 leden tellende internationale vakjury gebaseerd op criteria als innovatie, functionaliteit, formele kwaliteit, ergonomie en duurzaamheid. Ontwerpers en fabrikanten afkomstig uit 59 landen legden meer dan 6.300 objecten voor.

De flexibele machineplatform maakt exact doseren van kleine en grote hoeveelheden poeders mogelijk met een productie van maximaal 480 flacons per minuut. Terwijl de flesjes continue worden gevoerd in de afvulmachine, past het vervoersysteem de verwerkingssnelheid aan, zodat het overeenkomt met het ritme van de individuele werkstations. Shuttle draagsystemen die snel kunnen schakelen tussen toe- en afvoer, voorkomen knelpunten en inactieve tijden. Aldus Bosch Packaging.

The assessment was carried out by a 40-member international jury of experts based on criteria such as degree of innovation, functionality, formal quality, ergonomics and durability. Designers and manufacturers from 59 countries submitted more than 6,300 objects.

The flexible machine platform allows the exact dosing of both small and large amounts of powder with an output of up to 480 vials per minute. While the vials are continuously fed into the filling machine, the transport system adjusts the feed rate to precisely match the rhythm of the individual workstations. Shuttle carrier systems, which can quickly switch between infeed and outfeed, prevent bottlenecks and idle times, according to Bosch Packaging.
