This year Witt-Gasetechnik in Witten will present the new and improved solutions for the quality control of packaging during FachPack Nuremberg (Hall 1, stand 545), 25 to 27 September.
The new gas analyser Oxybeam, designed as a compact table-top model, uses infrared laser light to measure the oxygen content MAP (Modified Atmoshere Packaging) packaging. An advantage of this technique is that the packaging remains intact during the test. The remaining oxygen content is displayed on a touch screen, with an accuracy of 0.1%.
Oxybaby
Also easy to use is the one-hand-controlled mobile O2/CO2 gas analyser Oxybaby. The measurements results are stored on a MicroSD card in the CSV format. As a result, the data transfer, which formerly took place through the USB interface and the use of additional software, has become easier, according to the company.
Leak-Master Easy
The water based leak tester – Leak-Master Easy – is now available in two other, more compact room formats. The capacity of the rooms 0.5 and 1.5 allows the easier cleaning and refreshing of the water, and also provides the functionality of the leak tester. The series includes seven models that also detect small leaks, for example in pharmaceuticals or food packaging with or without a protective atmosphere.
